Bike Bible was established in 2014 by original founder Chris Evans, beginning life as a Facebook group where Chris could seek and share advice and tips about his hobby, cycling. Over the years the Bike Bible Facebook group has grown into one of the world’s largest cycling focused Facebook groups, currently boasting over 43,000 members.
Overwhelmed with managing the Facebook group and maintaining a full-time job and family life, Chris put Bike Bible up for sale in December 2017.
On December 17th 2017, Mike Hampton of Cornish based Lobon Digital Partners completed the purchase of the Bike Bible name and assets and assumed full control and management of the Facebook group and social media profiles.
“As a web developer and internet marketing expert I spotted the opportunity to develop a new website with a view to engaging and working with cyclists of all skill levels and interests. Cyclists are incredibly passionate and supportive of one another and I hope that will continue on the new site. I am excited to launch the new site and look forward to creating a community led development that is accessible and valuable to all who visit us. I hope you are able to contribute and join us on the exciting ride and journey that lays ahead of us – Mike Hampton, Bike Bible Cycling Club
